When you register for Shadow Sprint, Classic Phase ("we", "us", or "our") collects certain personal information necessary to facilitate the hackathon. This includes:

• Identity Data: Full name, email address, and age verification (if applicable).
• Professional Data: GitHub usernames, personal portfolios, and relevant development experience.
• Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and system telemetry when interacting with our platforms.

2. How We Use Your Data

We strictly use your information to operate the Hackathon. This includes:

• Processing your registration and managing team formations.
• Communicating critical mission updates, rules, and schedules.
• Facilitating the judging process and distributing prizes to winners.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and the event.

3. Data Sharing and Sponsors

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We may share your information only under the following circumstances:

• Official Sponsors: If you explicitly opt-in during registration, we may share your resume and contact information with our official hackathon sponsors for recruitment purposes.
• Service Providers: We use trusted third-party platforms (e.g., Discord, Devfolio) to host the event. These platforms have their own privacy policies governing data they process.
• Legal Compliance: If required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes, we may disclose your information to law enforcement or regulatory authorities.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Directive, including for satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data at any time. To execute a data purge request, please contact our command center at classicphase.team@gmail.com. Note that requesting deletion before the conclusion of the event will result in the forfeiture of your registration and eligibility for prizes.

5. Security Protocols

We have implemented industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no internet transmission or electronic storage system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
